Finance grad named Fulbright semifinalist

Out of eight semifinalists for the 2017-2018 Fulbright U.S. Student Program competition from Miami, one of FSB’s best is on the board.
Khalid Osman, a finance major who graduated in December 2016, applied for a Fulbright grant for an English teaching assistantship in Indonesia. If chosen, Khalid would work with, live with and learn from the people in Indonesia and engage with the community.
Khalid was recommended by the U.S. National Screening Committee, along with the seven other semifinalists from Miami University. Miami has had students receive Fulbright U.S. Student Program grants every year since 2005.
We wish Khalid the best as he progresses through the competition!
